Help! Success stories?

I’m currently 6w6d with baby number 2. Attended a private early scan last night at 6w5d to be told there was no fetal pole and she ‘thinks’ she could see a yolk sack. The gestational sack is measuring at 9mm.

The sonographer kept asking me if there’s any way I was earlier than I thought but I was tracking ovulation and I ovulated on the 1/05 and on BD once so definitely can’t be earlier than I think. She thinks the pregnancy looks around 4 and a half weeks.

I’m worried sick about this. With my son, I was so sick through the first trimester and this pregnancy I’ve had no symptoms. Im booked in on Monday with the early pregnancy unit for a scan with them but I’m already thinking so negatively about all of this and fear the worst is happening.

Has this ever happened to anyone and still went on to be a successful pregnancy?

Sorry not a success story but just to say I’m going through the same thing myself.

At around 6 weeks I went for an early scan and was told the pregnancy sac was only 8.4mm and around 5 weeks. It was also empty.

I have an NHS scan booked for next Weds exactly a week later.

I didn’t track my ovulation but know roughly when it was, also only BD once that month too so can’t be that far out.

Read lots of positive stories about this but also ones that have lead to a MMC and blighted ovum. I’ve had one before so feel lik that’s where I’m heading.

Aw I’m so sorry you’re going through the same thing. The waiting is absolutely horrendous.

Praying we both have positive news next week and go on to have healthy pregnancies!

I took another digital tonight that said 3+ so I’m totally baffled as to what’s going on. X
