Is it normal for twinges to stop early pregnancy?

I'm almost 7 weeks pregnant and for about a week now I haven't felt any twinges or cramps and wondering if it's normal? I'm not feeling like there's anything 'in there' anymore although have sore boobs and been more tired than usual. I did feel like I was going to get my period around a week ago and felt fuller in my tummy area but nothing since. I've got a scan on Sunday and already feeling anxious!

Sounds completely normal! I’m 11+6 and all symptoms have been intermittent throughout, twinges like you describe in particular have come and gone. The only thing that’s been fairly consistent is fatigue! I had an early scan at 10+0 and all was well so hopefully it’s the same for you! Gah, it’s such an anxious time isn’t it! Good luck for Sunday x

Thank you, feels so weird not to have anything. I had a miscarriage last year and even then felt 'fuller' and like something was there. It's horrible not having any reassurance isn't it! Trying not to overthink everything but failing!

I was similar! Felt a lot around 5 or 6 weeks then very little from 7 weeks onwards. After that the nausea and tiredness kicked in to remind me baby was there! X

@LeCreusetLove @Carlotta27 managed to see a strong and clear heartbeat today which was incredible! Measuring 6 days behind my ovulation date but they weren't concerned at all. It's made me feel a bit anxious but I think it can be normal so early on. Reassuring to know that its heart is beating in there despite not feeling much in terms of symptoms etc!

That’s great news that they saw a heartbeat, I know that stats for a miscarriage drop dramatically after the heartbeat is found. Good luck for the 12 week scan and enjoy seeing the little one have a wriggle about there x

I don't think I had early twinges or cramps at all in either pregnancy - I don't think it means anything.

Whatever Google says about lack of symptoms and symptoms should be there all the time is the worst misinformation ever. Pregnancy symptoms constantly change and come and go. Everyone has an entirely different experience to anyone else. 7 weeks is technically 5 weeks there is not much to expect at this time. First symptoms can be tiredness and constipation. For the body - very easy to achieve.

Yes, sounds normal, I remember feeling like this early on.
