Protein in urine

Had my 32 week growth scan yesterday baby is a good size of 5 pound, when she did my checks my BP was 140/83 and she said there was a slight trace of protein in my urine, I asked what this meant and she said nothing. With how much it was they would do anything about it and didn’t seem worried at all. I then went to see the consultant after and they didn’t mention anything.
I haven’t slept all night thinking I’m getting preeclampsia any reassurance please?

Obviously nobody can know about your specific situation but I had trace of protein, similar blood pressure and terrible headache at my midwife appointment around 32 weeks - everything was fine and no further issues. Currently 38 weeks x

Be super careful you’re not getting dehydrated as this can be a cause.

I’ve checked blood pressure this morning and it was 107/73 which is good so I think I’ve just over stressed myself.
tbh I don’t drink a lot at all, I never have, I definitely need to try and drink more water x

High blood pressure and protein in urine can be a sign of preeclampsia , I'd say they might want to mo for you more closely ? It's a good sign that your BP came back down though but yes definitely drink more water
