Bleeding and cramps after internal scan

I went for a reassurance scan today and they said I was 6w1d and found a heartbeat. Since the scan I've had really bad cramps and about 5 hours after it I've had some red bleeding when wiping and on a pad. Has anyone had anything similar?

I haven't had anything similar myself but I've seen lots of people on here saying they did! It can cause irritation to your cervix which causes the bleeding and cramping

I've only had 1 internal scan but that pregnancy resulted for a loss. I did bleed after. I've had internal exams in my surviving pregnancies and bled though. I think it's normal!

I had a bit of brown blood after internal scans which I think is normal but never red bleeding. I’d be a bit concerned about the bad cramps but it could just be coincidence and part of pregnancy.

Thanks everyone. It has stopped now and the cramps are back to the usual pulling ones so hoping it was just a sensitive cervix or something like that 🤞
