Blood under skin

This evening I've noticed an area on my tummy that's got some sort of rash/blood under the skin.
It's not itchy or bothering me, 29weeks but lost my show yesterday. Does anyone know what this could be, will attach a photo

Looks like something has rubbed on it? Have you had a seatbelt on for a long period of time?

I did have a seatbelt on for a couple of hours but this came up quite some time after the long car journey. Could still be the cause I suppose

Are you on any blood thinners, OP? They give me marks like that one.

I get that if I wear something tight it's called petechiae and is caused by tightness against the skin or low platelets. I would keep an eye on it and if it spreads then see your midwife but it might just be your trousers waist band against the bump?

Hang on you lost your show yesterday? They do regenerate but I'd definitely call your midwife in the morning or triage now if you have cramping

I was wearing a dress today, nothing tight like waistband could have caused it. I'll keep an eye and let my midwife know if it gets any worse

Yes, I was seen yesterday and confirmed it was my show but they weren't concerned! Just said to return if anything changes/pains etc. I did have some pain earlier today but done a lot of walking, so think that's why as it's fine now
