As per a previous thread of mine, I’ve had two cervical punch biopsies done not long before getting pregnant (with 10mm and 4mm taken). I have read guidance that anything over 10mm warrants cervical length checks but my trust goes by the rule that checks are not done unless the amount taken was over 15mm.
I have asked the midwifery unit and my GP to refer me for a cervical scan as I am worried but I have been refused, so I am going to have to go private. I’m currently 17 weeks and can’t work out when the best time to go would be? I can only afford to pay for one so don’t want to go too early and then my cervix potentially get smaller a few weeks later.
