Promethazine for morning sickness.

Hey,
I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant with my second child and have terrible nausea and sickness all day everyday. My doctor prescribed Promethazine as an anti sickness tablet but I'm anxious about taking anything when pregnant. Just wondered if anyone has had experience taking this for morning sickness and how they found it?

I’m taking it currently for morning sickness - personally I can only take it at nights otherwise it makes me drowsy in the day but everyone is different! I do find it very effective though. I take cyclizine during the day

I took it for a few weeks in my second pregnancy but it didn't help unfortunately and I just got worse after awhile into full blown HG (again, so I was expecting It). It did also make me a little drowsy/sluggish especially when I was taking it twice a day, but not massively so, like I still managed to work and go on as usual. I slept great on it too! Worth a try though.
