Shivery and sick in early pregnancy

I am 3 weeks pregnant (so not even missed my period yet) but I have terrible morning sickness already.

And I'm also really shivery one minute then hot the next. I don't have a temperature.

I didn't really get sick with my first so this is new for me. Does it sound normal? Especially the shivers?

Any thing that works for you to combat the morning sickness?

Shivery and hot isn’t right, you need to ring 111

It sounds like you have a bug. I had terrible pregnancy sickness both times but it didn't start until 6 weeks and never made me shivery.

Sounds like you are unwell. So you wouldn’t miss your period until next week? You’re only one week past ovulation? How do you know that you are pregnant already?

@Saffster2024 Thanks for replying. I took a pregnancy test (actually I did about 5!). I know it is far too early but they are all positive.

Maybe I have a bug too and it's just coincidence

@muddlingthrou Yes, I had a bit of morning sickness last time but not this early. Maybe it's just coincidence and I have a bug too.

Although I definitely don't have a temperature. It just feels like the type of shivery-ness that you get when you've had a serious injury. If that makes sense...

@DustyLee123 Thanks, I will give them a call.

My DH is working away from home so it's just me and my 2 year old at home. Which is definitely not helping!

Thank you everyone

My toddler just vomited al over the floor so I suppose that answers the question!

I've just had COVID and my first symptoms were those. I was really poorly so hope you aren't! Might be worth doing a test. The new variant is all over apparently but people aren't testing so don't know what it is

@Lucylaughing I did wonder this actually. I looked everywhere in the house for a test but couldn't find one. I do feel a lot better today at least
