33 weeks and bloody nipple discharge?!

Hi!

im leaking colostrum for couple of weeks now. Several times i leak what looks like brown bloody colostrum. I know that because on time i had a bloody crust on my nipple and i saw bloody spots on my bed sheet. It’s my first baby. Who else had this? Im getting an ultrasound but this could be normal right?

Hi OP, this is totally normal.
Colostrum can widely vary in colour, anything from yellowish/white to rusty dark orange.

I had that for a day or so at the start. My midwife called it rusty pipe syndrome and said it was nothing to worry about.
