I’m asking mainly for second babies?
im 13 weeks, I feel like I am having moments of feeling baby! Little taps and my tummy MOVED today!
I always question whether its gas or not too 😣🤣

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I felt one movement with my first at 12 weeks - she must have flipped over, it felt like a goldfish flipping! Then nothing for a few more weeks. With my second I felt him a bit before 12 weeks, maybe I knew what to expect. It was like vibrations at first.

I’m 33 weeks now and I was convinced I first felt baby move at around 12/13 weeks. Like little bubbles or twitches. So it could be your baby you’re feeling, particularly if it’s your second+ pregnancy :) it is quite difficult to tell at that stage if it’s Gas bubbles or the baby though 🤣

Yes 10 weeks in my second pregnancy. It's unmistakable and nothing like gas, I don't know why people make that comparison. My gas is not so gentle 🤣

Letsgotitans · 25/05/2024 05:18

Wow 12 weeks is really early! 16 weeks with first and 15 with second

infactyourquiteunique · 25/05/2024 05:26

Gosh I think it was more like 18 weeks!

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 25/05/2024 09:54

From 12 weeks I felt like I could feel rolling, I questioned if it was baby. At 13+6 I was 99% sure it was baby. Then the movements just got stronger and stronger, by 17 weeks she was moving every day and husband felt her on the outside

UnravellingTheWorld · 25/05/2024 10:51

13 weeks for my second. I'm a bit stunned at it being so early, but I'm 14+5 now and it's unmistakeable

My mum didn't believe me when I first told her 🤣

theteddybear · 25/05/2024 11:25

longdistanceclaraclara · 25/05/2024 11:35

Felt not got!

SouthwestSis · 25/05/2024 12:21

I'm 14+5 with baby number 2 and yesterday was the first time I thought I felt movement (BMI is 23)

Kinsters · 25/05/2024 14:06

14+4 was the first time I felt this one move, now I'm 17+4 and definitely feeling her every day. This is my fourth pregnancy that's gotten to this stage and my placenta is anterior.

T2024 · 25/05/2024 18:51

15/16 weeks with my first pregnancy and he is an energetic toddler! So it makes sense 🤣

I'm currently 10 weeks with 2nd preg and I'm having strange small rolling sensation every now and again. If it continues and gets stronger, I'll know if it's baby.

toomanytonotice · 25/05/2024 18:55

Definitely before my 12 week scan. I remember being in the bath watching my stomach jump.

when I went for the scan the I could see the baby kicking at the same time I felt the movement, so not gas or wind.

i must have low abdominal fat or something as when not pregnant I can see and feel my aortic pulse really easily. So can’t be much in the way of things.

Babyenroute · 25/05/2024 21:03

I felt like an inside tickling at 13 weeks and I was sure it was baby but also thought it would have been to early. Didn't feel any kicks until after my 20 week scan.

MixedCouple2 · 25/05/2024 22:10

Firat baby was 10 weeks and second baby was also 10 weeks.
For me was very obvious felt like a bag of worms / snakes wriggling about. It was confirmed at 12 week scan as I had too do some star jumps to get DS to move and when I stopped the sensation was there and the sonographer started to scan and baby was flipping out 😂 like earthquaaaake.

T2024 · 25/05/2024 22:16

@MixedCouple2 That's such a good description of the feeling! A bag of snakes 🤣 I think I'm feeling that now at 10ish weeks, but absolutely doubting myself as it's such a strange feeling!

MixedCouple2 · 25/05/2024 22:20

😂 I never had that sensation in my entire life and I suffer with IBS 😂
It is one you can't mix up for sure.

My midwife said that some people.are very intune with sensations abdominally. I learnt that some people can feel a little too much when it comea to digestion and that can cause a lot of psychological issues. It goes to show that we are not text books.

changedit1234 · 25/05/2024 22:21

I was 16 weeks and felt very light flutter movements like a butterfly was in there 🥰
