Early scan following FET

I had a frozen embryo transfer earlier this month and got a very faint BFP 5dp5dt and had good line progression after this. As it's an IVF pregnancy I've booked an early scan for 6w+1 as I'm extremely anxious! My clinic isn't scanning me until 7w+6 which is a long time to wait.

Does anyone have any experience of early implantation following FET and hearing a heartbeat at 6 weeks? Because now I'm worrying the 6 week scan will make me more anxious 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was meant to have a blood test at TF+14 (kryo transfer of a blasto) and then a scan a week later in case it was positive.
We had a heartbeat at about 6 weeks. We also had one with a natural pregnancy at that time. Doesn't mean it has to be there but there's a chance. My scans were mostly scheduled that early to exclude another ectopic pregnancy, though.

Thank you. That's helpful.

@DippyDuck19 I had my FET on 23 April and bhcg blood test 4 May to confirm. Had the scan at the clinic on Monday 20 May putting me at 6w+4, they could see the heartbeat, I can understand the wait is hard, if you think going at 6w will make you more at peace stick to it. The only thing is you may not be able to see clearly and have to wait till the following week anyway which could make you feel worse - this is whats happened to me, even though I scanned when my clinic asked me to. I have to wait 9 extra days for a second scan as the first one showed one heart beat, but there's possibility there is a twin in the same sack with no heartbeat/no heartbeat yet.

Good luck with your scan whenever you choose to have it x

Thank you! I'm still going to have scan and just have to accept I may or may not see a heartbeat.

I saw a heartbeat at 6w3d as my clinic early scan was brought forward when I had bleeding. It was only just registering so not sure if you could push yours by a couple of days? I know the wait is agonising! All turned out ok by the way, so hope the same is true for you xx
