Faint positive or evaporation lines

Hello, I’m new here and just wanted some thoughts before bothering a nurse or doctor. I’m older (40) and just have not got pregnant, but still like clockwork with periods. However I am late, so I tested Sunday and this morning. Does this look like an evaporation line? I plan to re-test at the end of the week. Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks for looking, I was doubting if it was pink enough and so it hasn’t really sank in, just keep expecting to come on. Ordered a couple more tests and will then go to see the doctor. Should have ordered digital, MsSandyToes, you are right.

@ThisSparklyDog I tested on digital tests every week ha only to check on hcg was going up x

I did another test to be sure today and yes, I’m pregnant!!

I was just going to say, mine came very faint first time then the very next morning did another and it was strong. Congrats (I hope ) x

Just after peoples opinions , I am going to test again in a few days but took this this morning and have been staring at it allday literally 🙈🙈 I’m not sure if I have line eyes But I can certainly see something faint , (not getting my hopes up just incase )

Hi ladies my husband and I have been trying for a baby and I after having already tested with CB test and upon reading a few posts about clear blue not being reliable, can someone please tell me if this is a positive test or a evaporation line, both lines are blue and so was all the 7 tests prior to this one in the box that I have done was also like this? Has anyone experienced this kind of evap line at all or was this a positive result and did The doctor confirm it for you to be positive or negative with further tests. I am so confused

@WiseDog im going to re test in a few days I think 🤔 1 day before my actual Af is due , I’m not convinced because you have to shine youre phone camera torch through the back for the 2 pink lines to be proper visable .

I really hope so cause we have been trying for a really long time to get pregnant, does it matter how thick the plus line is cause that one is really thin. Thankyou hun xx

I've been caught out with evap lines that looked exactly like that.

Okay so I did test again today 🙈🙈 I’m going to do a dearer one in a few days time (once I’ve actually missed my period ) I’m currently 8dpo this was done in the time frame took about 1 minute to be visable ,
my last positive test looked exactly like this to start with and colour darkened with more hcg . Thoughts on this ??
