Following a trip to triage last night, I've been given Nitrofurantoin 100g for a bladder infection. I'm now worrying as online it says it's not recommended in the third trimester (I'm 33 weeks) as it can cause an issue with a baby's red blood cells.
Has anyone been prescribed this or knows anything at all? Feeling rather paranoid and can't speak to my GP or midwife until tomorrow.
