Baby brain

Please make me feel better! Is baby brain a thing? Im 28 weeks pregnant and have a brain like a sieve at the moment. I forget what I’ve done almost INSTANTLY and I lose my keys on a daily basis. Yesterday, I spent 15 minutes sitting in my car thinking I was locked out of home because I thought I had lost them… then subsequently found them exactly where I left them in the pocket of my bag.

Please tell me I’m not alone in having a baby brain?! Dare I ask… does it get better…?

It’s a thing! I’m 31 weeks and I’m forgetting things at work that are causing my boss to not want to deal with me 🫣🤣 I think it’s because you have so much more on your mind and the little things are at the back of it now. Hopefully it goes once I give birth or I might lose my job 🤣

I hate to say it doesn’t get better for awhile, or at least hasn’t for me, I’m 3 weeks postpartum now and accused my husband of having accidentally taken our TV remote to work in his bag by accident. Haven’t been able to switch the TV on all day so have been in a right strop with him, it’s only when I’ve went to cook our dinner tonight that I’ve found the remote…in the fridge beside the jam I used this morning 😂 woops

After the birth it got better, but I wouldn't say it went away entirely I'm afraid!

I was in my first pregnancy, first trimester I was on the phone. Rep asked my name and "I don't know my name" fell out of my mouth! (Couldn't remember if I had updated my account after getting married)

There are others but this is definitely my lowest moment 😂

Oh man that I can see how that was a low point for you! I might write my name on a post it note just in case this happens to me 😂

I kept throwing teaspoons in the bin when making a cup of tea when I was pregnant. I'd lob the spoon and the teabag in together. We went through so many spoons 😄
