7weeks pregnant but bby measuring 6w 1d

Hi,

I am pregnant via ivf, today i had my 7week scan
I am measuring 6 weeks and 1 day and my yolk sac is measuring 5 weeks ( but the baby had a strong heart beat which was seen)

I am really worried. I have been booked in for another scan in a weeks time. Can anyone please share your thoughts?

It is so hard not to worry but the fact baby has a strong heart beat is a good sign! Babies grow at all different rates and you may find next week baby has caught up!

Seems like it is all going well for you, try not to stress.

Absolutely completely normal. Baby is tiny, they're using a grainy image to estimate the size of a tiny thing and a tiny difference gives a different day. And babies grow at completely different rates, from eachother and from day to day too. You could jump forward 2 weeks at your scan in a week. It's all estimates and averages.

Your baby has a strong heart beat, so they're alive and thriving.

I had mine last week at what I thought was 7+0 but measured 7+3. Sonographer said scans this early could be out 5 days each way.

With DD1 they moved me 4 days back and with DD2 4 days forward from LMP x
