Grade 4 external piles, thrombosed in pregnancy

Hi all I’m really wanting to hear from anyone who has had grade 4 thrombosed external piles that have gone away with steroid cream, baths ice and care. I’m /6 weeks pregnant. I’ve been referred to see an NHS surgeon at the end of June but read pretty negative stuff about recovery and the idea of that on top of heavy pregnancy or new born plus c section new. I also have a two year old and am not able to do much with him. Plus work requires me to sit in a chair (am a counsellor).

I’m on my second round of steroid ointment from the gp and actually the pain has gone. But there is a little caterpillar - about 1cm high attached to the skin going from my bum to my vulva. So they can’t be put in.

I’m a bit deer in the headlights, panicked about this as I’ve read that surgery is the thing. They’re too severe for banding or lasering. And I fear they won’t get better. But they don’t hurt much now so could they go?

Hi, just wondering if you managed to get any successful treatment?
I’m in my second pregnancy, was booking in for surgery for this after my first baby, but fell pregnant again and have got the dreaded thrombosed piles again (at 32 wks) so for me it will be a wait until baby is here and get referred again for surgery.
