Pregnant with #2 and have minimal symptoms so far - only extreme tiredness and sore boobs!

With #1 I wasn't sick at all and it was a boy. Has anyone had no sickness with multiple pregnancies and had both genders? I've heard that you're more likely to be sick with a girl lol!

Interested to hear how your pregnancies differed with different genders 😛

3 pregnancies, 2 successful, 1 baby of each sex, 0 sickness any time.

It's tosh.

Interesting!! My friend was asking today how I was feeling and said I was feeling pretty good and she said 'definitely a boy' lol! Will be interesting to see what happens ☺️

I’ve heard the more likely to be sick with a girl a lot but I was sick when I was pregnant with my little boy. When I was having DD I didn’t really have any symptoms.

Ladyj84 · 12/05/2024 04:39

Boys and girls sick sick sick singles and twins sick sick no difference for me

maisiedaisy64 · 12/05/2024 05:26

Girl, no sickness, loads of heartburn. DD was born with loads of hair! Massively swollen ankles from 20 weeks.

DS arrives Wednesday, had lots of nausea, and less heartburn. Ankles only started swelling about 3/4 weeks ago.

SnapdragonToadflax · 12/05/2024 05:32

I was very sick and had terrible heartburn, and had a boy with very little hair. Not sure that checks out.

I have noticed the sugar/savoury craving thing seems to work out more often than not, though of course it's probably bollocks. I couldn't eat anything sugary my entire pregnancy.

I was sick from day 21 of my cycle in which I conceived until an hour after my son was born 😫 one reason we were one and done.

Ttcmumma · 12/05/2024 07:19

My symptoms with my son and daughter were the same, mild sickness. The only pregnancy that was different and far more intense symptoms wise was the one I lost at 14 weeks

T2024 · 12/05/2024 07:28

I'm craving the same things in this pregnancy as my first which was a little boy. Salty stuff and fruit! And v little sickness thankfully

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 12/05/2024 08:58

I felt sick on both pregnancies but was only physically sick with DC1. Both children are girls.

2 of my friends has horrible sickness, both have 2 boys.

0 sickness with my boy. My friend had a boy and had extreme sickness! My gut always
told me I was having a boy though, I did believe the wives tales.

DinoGD · 12/05/2024 09:03

I'm pregnant with my first and wondering the same! My mum had four kids; with all of three of her girls, sick as anything! My brother? Not an ounce of nausea! Might not be anything to it, but still fun to wonder!

Avie29 · 12/05/2024 09:52

I had a Girl first, horrible morning sickness, felt absolutely drained, then boy, felt mostly fine, then twins boy/girl felt mostly fine, and last girl again horrible morning sickness lol i always say the girl suck the beauty out of you for themselves thats why you feel worse lol i always crave sweet with girls and i don’t generally have a sweet tooth, the twins was savoury and then needed something sweet straight after, i have been able to predict all my babies genders even the twins lol xx

PitterPatter3 · 12/05/2024 10:31

I am pregnant with a girl after two boys.

With the first boy I had pretty much zero symptoms the entire nine months.

The second boy and this pregnancy have been similar with various mild to moderate symptoms. If I didn’t know the sex (from both scan and NIPT), I’d guess this was another boy.

Blue2020 · 12/05/2024 10:40

I had morning sickness (well any time of day really) with my son until 14 weeks, my two friends didn’t have any sickness and they had girls.

FortyFacedFuckers · 12/05/2024 10:41

I was extremely sick with my son

But my mum had no sickness at all & had 2 girls & 1 boy

YouWouldntKnowWhatIMean · 12/05/2024 10:44

I had dreadful morning sickness to the point of being signed off work, hospital trips for degradation, medication etc all 3 times and I have 3 boys!

YouWouldntKnowWhatIMean · 12/05/2024 10:44

Obviously that should say dehydration!

Itsabeautufulday · 12/05/2024 10:46

Sickness with different sexes. 3 pregnancies and all different and I just produced 2 different sexes rather then 3 different genders. You'd need over 150 pregnancies to compare them all 🙄

donkeyleg · 12/05/2024 11:03

My first a boy no sickness, terrible heartburn and craved savoury things.
My 2nd and 3rd pregnancies both girls had awful nausea, sick a couple of times, terrible heartburn and craved sweet stuff

SiobhanSharpe · 12/05/2024 11:05

Sick as a parrot with both my full term pregnancies. Both boys.

Hadalifeonce · 12/05/2024 11:07

No difference in symptoms for both of mine, different sexes.

DeadMau5 · 12/05/2024 11:57

1- sick a bit went off loads of food. Girl sadly born at 21 weeks.
2- sick a lot went off loads of food terrible heartburn. Girl.
3- no sickness went off loads of food. Boy
4- the worst sickness and constant nausea. Went off tea. Boy
5- no sickness dream pregnancy. Boy

My theory based entirely on anecdotal evidence from myself, friends and family is that if you have sickness the child is more like their Father.

Blueberry1990 · 12/05/2024 13:04

I'm 28 weeks pregnant with a girl, had pretty much zero symptoms.
No sickness, no cravings, no sore boobs, no heartburn so far

rosed1008 · 12/05/2024 13:05

I was far sicker with my boy than girl. Girl is eldest. I think the science is that sickness worsens with subsequent pregnancies
