How many weeks am I?

I had my last period on the 15th March, and I didn't get a positive test until two weeks after my missed period. Has anyone else had this?

I'm wondering then am I 8 weeks or could I have conceived two weeks later? Has anyone been in the same situation and able to provide me some insight please?

Thank you!

NHS will initially date your pregnancy from first day of your last period, regardless of conception date or when you tested positive. The dating will then be adjusted at your 12-week scan when they measure the baby. You could get an early scan now, privately, if you want to know? if you only got a positive test two weeks after your missed period, it seems likely you ovulated and conceived very late and therefore you will be 'measuring' behind.

The first day of my last period was the 13th March and should I have a 28 day cycle this would make me 8 weeks. However, I know my cycles are 33-35 days so I'm more likely to be 7 weeks.

NHS have booked the dating scan based off the date of my last period and it's initially based on a 28 day cycle, regardless of whether yours are shorter or longer. They will also book your dating scan in from when you tell them your last period was.
