Baby's movements increased since being overdue.

The last week or so of being overdue the baby has been so, so active. Really big forceful movements that are constant. His heart rate and monitoring are all normal and I'm due to be induced next Wednesday if I don't go into labour myself before then. Just wondering if anyone else had noticed a big increase before labour started?

No, but I’d be very nervous I’m sorry to say. There’s no sign at all of distress in the heart rate?

hey, yes i went overdue by 9 days (i was induced) but my waters went the day before, and i remember saying to my OH i swear newborns don’t move this much why does she keep moving all the time! Lol i think maybe because your overdue their muscles are getting stronger or they are more alert by time the are born, my little girl could hold her head and was really alert from the get go xx
