What happened in your subsequent pregnancies?

My waters broke at 30+2 in my previous pregnancy and I had my son at 36+2 via planned c section due to baby measuring small. I'm now 32 weeks and feel like I'm on borrowed time with this pregnancy. I want to enjoy it but I feel so worried about the same thing happening again. Would love to hear experiences!

My waters went at 29 weeks and my daughter was born at 35 weeks. My subsequent children were both early but not due to PPROM.

Fingers crossed for you.

This is my 5th pregnancy. Currently 37 weeks. My 3rd pregnancy was PPROM at 27 weeks delivered 28 weeks. It hasn’t happened again for me. They believed the reason it happened was infection.

@Tulipvase thanks! Would you mind sharing how early were your others and what was the reason?

@LBNM19 exciting you're now at term! They never found a reason for my PPROM, no infection or anything, so it leaves the answer as to whether it'd happen again more tricky!

I never tested positive for infection but that what they assumed the cause to be. Have they discussed with you why it may of happened?

Mine broke at 34 weeks with my first then my next 2 at 39 weeks so it was a one off for me
