Hi mums!

I'm 5 weeks pregnant with #2 and have an early scan booked for when I'm 7 weeks. I can't seem to keep my mind busy and can't wait for the scan to know everything is ok!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Honestly - I have been so busy looking after toddler number 1 and having my head in the toilet the weeks between flew by aha!

Now i'm 9 weeks, the wait to 13 weeks for my nhs scan is taking ages!

I've been doing DIY when i feel well enough as we have lots of jobs which need doing before baby arrives.

I was too busy trying not to be sick on my toddler or going to bed early. Hope all goes smoothly for you!

The one benefit of constant nausea and sickness is that it’s blocked all of the anxiety that I know I’d otherwise be feeling in the wait for the 12 week scan. Don’t know if i’d recommend it though. I think distraction is the only way, either be busy or if you don’t have pressing tasks then find a good series to binge. Endless googling and symptom obsession never leads anywhere productive in my experience.

I took the unusual route off not realising I was pregnant until I was nearly 11 weeks, booked in with the midwife who told me off for not knowing (I had no symptoms other than thirst and the NHS had told me I wouldn't be able to conceive without intervention) and had a scan less than a week later

Aww you poor thing!!! Thankfully I have no sickness yet and hoping I have a similar pregnancy to #1 as I had no sickness!

We get an early scan here in Oz and it's less than 2 weeks away and it's all I can think of!! ❤️

Yes I'm definitely obsessing over it and just can't wait to see the little bean on the screen!!

Ooh no sickness, that sounds marvellous!! Don't know why I didn't get that option, I should've asked for a refund 😂

I rewatched a lot of tv series! And slept a lot.
