When would you start reading/listening to hypnobirthing?

I'm only 23 weeks at the moment, I had a hypnobirthing book/cd to listen to when I was pregnant with DD1, and have tried to use the things I learnt with each birth but I got rid of the book/CD a long time ago as thought we had stopped at 3 🫣😂 now I'm pregnant again and would like to brush up on hypnobirthing in preparation but feel like it's abit too early to start and also there seems to be so many around, would anyone have any recommendations?

I would save your effort and time and not bother. I took individual lessons with a well-known, highly-qualified hypnobirther midwife, practised the breathing and visualisations daily with DH for the entire second half of my pregnancy, and it made not the slightest difference.

I appreciate that you have your own opinion and that it may not have worked for you but as I said in my first post, I did find it helpful in my other pregnancies and births so would like to refresh it in my mind

Ah that's the spirit!

I have only just started mine at 34 weeks but should have started sooner really. I suppose the more time you have the more you can embed it in to your every day before the time comes??

Good luck :)
