Would you test again for CMV?

Im 30 weeks pregnant now. Since 1 week i have troat pain very light and waking up sweaty in the night. Despite being fearful of what this could be. It is not an obvious cold i wondered last night if it could be a CMV infection.

I work with young kids and i am very careful. It do not have antibodies. Would you test for CMV? The thought only gives me the nerves. It would be terribly nervous for the result.

If you did have CMV, there's nothing you can do about it so I don't think there's any point really, you are already anxious, it will just exacerbate it.

Hey, my nephew had cmv after birth and I was in close contact with him in my early stages of pregnancy, unknowingly about the cmv. I told my midwife and they tested me twice for cmv via blood test at my request. Both times came back negative. And advice was to avoid close contact, ie bodily fluids. Basically the midwife joked saying I could hold him, but don't lick him 😂
I have just been extra cautious the times that I do visit him.
