Hey, hope you can help.
I am 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I have had 2 scans and all is well and have a heartbeat. I have Been suffering with all day morning sickness, just begging for it to stop. I was prescribed Cyclizine, not much relief straight away but I have been taking it for 5 days now. I have woken up this morning feeling a bit sick but it’s my best day and I am feeling pretty normal now. Although I am so happy I feel better I am now concerned. Has anyone else had cyclizine and it taken a little while to work or had bad sickness and the odd day of feeling normal. I haven’t felt like this for 3 weeks?
Any help or stories will be appreciated!

I had cyclizine and all was ok. I took it as I had Hyperemesis and it worked well, allowing me to go work and act normally.

Thank you @Newheadche. Did it work day one for you? I am glad you are feeling better.
this is day 6 of taking it and I didn’t have any improvement until now. Suddenly feeling normal after feeling so bad is worrying.

I'm currently on cyclizine, 14+6 now and started taking it around 7 weeks. It definitely took a few days, maybe even a week, to work. It made me feel very foggy for a few days too, but that eased off eventually. I also adjusted the dose, I was taking 3 a day at first but then changed to 2 and that suited me better (I stopped taking the one over night).

@Hopingrae thanks for your message.
did you suddenly feel better one day? It’s so worrying. Yes only been taking 2.

@HLW011 so it coincided with me having quite bad tonsillitis so I'm not 100% sure. But I feel like I noticed one day that it seemed to be working much more so than the day before if that makes sense. I know it's disconcerting when symptoms suddenly change. Hopefully everything is OK 🤞

@Hopingrae thank you! Me too!

Hi, sorry you're so sick and feeling worried. My bad morning sickness came and completely went several times during the first trimester and I panicked each time. I know it's worrying but the absence of sickness isn't a sign anything is wrong, especially as you are taking medication. For me Cyclizine sometimes seemed to help and sometimes didn't many much difference - I felt bad some days I took it and better some days I didn't at any rate. Overall for me the sickness slowly lifted and was gone by about week 15 but as I say it came and went multiple times before that. I hope you continue to feel better and that all is well!

@Writerscompanion thanks so much for the reassurance! I should have just enjoyed it because I was so sick again last night and woke up feeling my normal nauseated self! X
