Hcg Beta levels?! 4 weeks pregnant

Hi, I’m currently around 4 weeks pregnant yesterday. Previous early miscarriages so had BETA levels taken and only 70. I may of been only 3 weeks and 6 days when this blood test was taken. Couldn’t see anything on the scan either. Due to go back for another BETA tomorrow to compare. I have not bleeding or cramping, slight sore boobs and nausea has subsided.

Can anyone please put my worried mind at rest with these levels 😞 and if so any sucess stories 🙏✨

I could of written this myself except I had hcg levels of 65 when I was 5 weeks pregnant they doubled & I’m waiting for a scan next Thursday in the EPU. I’m just hoping I got my days wrong. I think your levels are fine & you won’t see anything on a scan that early anyway x

Your levels don't really having meaning beyond confirming a pregnancy or the start of one. You won't know anything until after the second BETA.

The first number is totally fine though, it is where it should be for an early pregnancy but again it doesn't really tell you anything about the health of the pregnancy.

It's hard to wait, I just went through a miscarriage and the waiting for tests is really hard. For what its worth, I had cramping and bleeding and really felt like something was wrong when I was waiting between my first and second BETA, so its good that you aren't having those things.

Fingers crossed that you get the doubling number tomorrow!

Oh and just to add, with my second (healthy pregnancy) my HCG started at 21. Low numbers don't mean anything unless its below 10.

Don't panic. It's the rate of increase that matters, not the actual level.

@TheShellBeach oh ahahah! So from your experience it’s just matter of waiting for the results on Monday! I just feel 7 is so low for just under 4 weeks 😭

@Girlmom2009 how are you getting on? I have a ultrasound scan this afternoon and am absolutely dreading it x

Mine were 80 at 4+1. At 4+5 they'd jumped to 700. Now nearly 28 weeks

How are you feeling about this?
It's actually more than a lot of scans show this early.
Did they take your blood again?

@TheShellBeach oh really I didn’t know that to expect, and no they didn’t as said it rose last time, but to re scan in 10 days 🙏

Not good. Sac measured 6 weeks & completely empty. Bloods haven’t increased to anywhere near what they should of so probably another miscarriage. I hope everything goes well for you 🩷 x
