I know there’s a December babies thread, but I thought it’d be nice to create a winter infertility babies thread for those of us who’ve been struggling to conceive for a while / used fertility treatments.

I’m 32 y.o. and 8 weeks today with my first pregnancy after my first FET (last embryo!) and had my scan last week, which showed everything on track. Now, starting to deal with nausea, dry as the Sahara mouth, and lots of fatigue. And a good dollop of pregnancy anxiety too!

Hopefully there are some others here too!

Hi - I'm very nervously putting my toe in the water here. I am just six weeks today and have had a scan this morning, from our first round of IVF. It has been an emotional rollercoaster so far. I had late onset OHSS so I had 4 tests which showed slow rising HCG, so I was expecting bad news today.

We were all surprised to see that embryo looks good, is in the right place, and there was a tiny heartbeat. Back next Thursday for another scan. There's still a good chance it won't work out for us but I'm tentatively letting some hope back in.

If it doesn't work out we will be going to private (cycle 2) as all our embryos were low quality so nothing to freeze.

On the flip side, all being well I think this little pea's due date could be Christmas Day.

Hope you're not feeling too poorly. I am not feeling too great, especially in the mornings, but I don't know how much is the OHSS (my ovaries are apparently still massive), how much is stress with everything that's happened, and how much is normal symptoms.

Just giving this a bump.

Anyone else here?
I'm 8 weeks now.
