Have we already made a mistake with timing?

we are ttc but have very busy schedules. i am also a person filled with general anxiety and thinking of any risk to a baby makes me even more anxious.

i finished my period last week on Tuesday, and we had sex on Weds and Thurs which I know most likely won't lead to pregnancy.

today is CD13, I am in my fertile window, mucus is very egg white runny. We had sex this morning, so about 5-6 days have gone by where my other half hasn't ejaculated.

I have now read that men should be ejaculating every 2-3 days so that when I'm in the fertile window the sperm quality is at its highest. Is this really the case?

If you fell pregnant, do you remember if it was from a one off or were you trying consistently every other day or so?

As long as you hit the fertile window it's fine. Don't drive yourself mad with googling all this stuff. The main thing is you need to be having sex on the day of ovulation and the day after.

Its more of an issue if they are ejaculating multiple times a day, but tbh I don't know how much of an effect it really has.
Anxiety and stress will likely have a bigger impact so I would advise just trying to stay as calm and unworried as you can. I was highly stressed during the first few months of TTC, obsessively tracking and planning in sex. I then realised how detrimental that would be so deleted all my apps, had sex probably 3-4 times a week which was normal for us and fell pregnant the second month of doing that. Good luck!!
Also maca root powder is a great supplement for fertility!

Anyway, it worked for us on a one-off. I think the advice if they are ejaculating multiple times a day. Try and do it again tonight and tomorrow.

I asked him hoping he had....but he said no, again his schedule this week has been extra busy but yes if hes embarrassed to tell him, I hope he did!!

we have managed to get pregnant off a one off. Every other time it’s been regular.

How was the one off pregnancy if you dont mind me asking?

It doesn't really make much of a difference, honestly.

And you don't increase your chances by having sex more than once a day, according to fertility consultants, so you can keep the pressure off tonight, too.

Currently 9-10 weeks and it’s tough! Lol! But going well so far fingers crossed. Had a few early scans to check in and baby is doing well.

No idea with my son as it was a complete surprise. Then had sex twice in one month and conceived, sadly a mmc at 14 weeks. Then fell pregnant after having sex only on peak fertile day and currently have a 3 week old
