Risk of slapped cheek in 3rd trimester

I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant and a child in my dd's adjoining nursery room has slapped cheek, child is obviously still in nursery as not contagious anymore but they've rang all the pregnant mums to let them know. It's bound to make its way into my dd's room soon if not already.
I'm waiting to hear back from the Dr on getting my bloods tested to see if I have antibodies, but if I don't have any how much of a risk is it in 3rd trimester? I can look at keeping her off nursery but that could be for weeks while it does the rounds and I'm still working. In a bit of a dilemma!

Hi didn't want to read and run but I am in exactly the same situation. My son was exposed to a confirmed case on the 23rd July and I just found out this Wednesday. I was 29 weeks yesterday.
I had my bloods tested on Wednesday but results could take up to 2 weeks. Even though I have read the risk drops after 20 weeks I and still worried sick!

I got slapped cheek (parvovirus)while pregnant at 6/7 weeks and my baby was born with a cleft palate and hearing l
oss. Later on in the pregnancy the baby is pretty established and more resilient to illnesses. I understand how tou are worried. I also tested positive for cmv and it was a scary time xx

@Babafarmer just not really enough out there to tell us the risks this late on. The Dr I spoke to was useless, openly said he didn't know much about the virus but that to his knowledge it was a risk pre 20 weeks. He also wasn't aware there was a blood test option 🙄 but that he would look into it and get back to me if he found anything. Not heard from him so making an appointment with my actual Dr Tuesday!
@Mumsgotaheadache01 sounds very scary, hope all ended up ok!

My son has slapped cheek at the moment and I'm 30 weeks, I was 28 weeks when he got it and I called my midwife, she tested my booking in bloods for immunity.

50% of people have immunity to slapped cheek and I am immune thankfully but everything I read and was told is that the worrying time is before 20 weeks so third trimester is a lot less worrying than earlier.

He also spent the day with his cousin in January days before she broke out in the rash, it's been rife here for months!

@justanotherlaura that's brilliant that you are immune. I'm always a glass half empty kinda person so I'm not expecting to be immune. With the bank holiday etc I would say it's going to be at least another 10 days until I get the results. Also started with a headache and sore throat so convinced this is it x

@Flopsy145 there really isn't much information and I think I have read everything out there. But I do believe there is still a risk even if it is small and that doesn't sit well with me.
My doctor was also useless, but I spoke to the midwife on call and it was her that ordered the bloods. X
