Milk coming in with elective c section

For those that had an elective c section, did it trigger your milk to come in and is there anything other than colostrum harvesting that you would suggest doing?
It's my second baby and to be fair I'm already leaking, I had an emergency c section last time after a long labour and baby was late, milk came in as I was leaving theatre but it's a very different situation this time so not sure what to expect!

I had two sections and breastfed without issue both times. Both times my milk came in a few days after the birth, as usual - it was on the later side of normal but not anything worrying. I had no issues feeding colostrum until then. I never harvested colostrum.

Are you sure your milk came in as you were leaving theatre? That would be unusual, usually it's colostrum for a couple of days and then your milk comes in.

@CelesteCunningham I was pretty off my face so it may not have been milk 😂 I definitely was on a pump the following day as the milk was flooding out of me and DD couldn't feed quick enough so was bottling some!

I had an elective section 2 weeks ago and my milk came in on day 4 which is fairly usual I think. I didnt do anything to trigger it or do any colostrum harvesting.
