Cold/sinus infection and insane headache

I've got another bloody cough/infection. I'm all bunged up and coughing really raspy. But omg my head is wrecking me, it feels like my head is going to explode, when I cough its unbearable the pressure.

Does this warrant anybody or do I need to just get through it? I'm 22 weeks pregnant, just had the scan a week ago and baby is measuring small but I didn't have any blood pressure issues. Had this headache 2 days now 😫

I had a horrible sinus infection earlier on in my pregnancy that lasted 3 weeks and it was agony at times. Unfortunately pregnancy lowers our immune system which makes us more susceptible to illnesses and makes it harder to shake them off. It is safe to take paracetamol within the stated guidelines and you could try soothers if your throat is sore but other than that I would say drink plenty of fluids and get rest when you can. Oh christ 3 weeks?!
I've had either a UTI, chest infection, stomach bug or flu this entire pregnancy. This is killing me

The headache is probably from your sinus get a salt water sinus rinse and have a look online how to massage your sinus to clear it . I suffer from it and if I don't treat it in time I'm physically sick from the pain also a humidifier in the bedroom at night would help

If you’re on a multivitamin such as pregnacare, I believe they contain zinc which is meant to be good for the immune system. Otherwise, if you’re just taking individual vitamin D / folic supplements, you could also try adding in zinc and see whether that helps at all.

I've ordered a saline flush kit with prime in the hope that will make a difference. I've literally been crying out in pain when I cough now. And honestly it's making me doubt how ill handle labour 🤣

I've got the boots vits with zinc. Honestly my immune system is just not doing its job!
