Back hip pain one side 5 weeks pregnant

I have a pain in the back of my right hip. It comes and goes it’s like a stabbing pain that comes and goes and just on one side. It’s like one stab/shock and then it’s goes and comes back a few seconds later. Lasts a few minutes and then goes away and then comes back 30/40 minutes later.

I am 5 weeks 2 days pregnant. Does this sound like ectopic pregnancy?

No it sounds like sciatica.

Doesn’t sound like an ectopic pregnancy, if you google the sacroiliac joint most likely sounds like it’s coming from there :)
very often mistakenly labelled as sciatica!

@DenimSwan , I'm just wondering what the outcome of your pain in the back on the right hand side was. I do hope all was OK? I'm experiencing similar at 4 weeks and 4 days.
