Ovulation after miscarriage…how did you know??

When did you know you ovulated straight after a miscarriage?

We have been ttc for 8 months and within that time I have had 2 miscarriages. My last miscarriage was a couple weeks ago, how do I know when I’m ovulating?! Gynaecologist said opks won’t work for this month…I guess because hormones are all over the place.

how did you know you were ovulating and did this result in a successful pregnancy? X

I didn't use OPKs until after I'd had one normal period - it is recommended to wait, to ensure everything is cleared from the MC. And it gave us some emotional space. took 4 months for another BFP

I used OPK from about 2 weeks after my miscarriage surgery and had a positive ovulation test a few days later, this was before my first period post MC. Only took us 5 months to conceive again 💕

I used opks once mc bleeding stopped and pregnancy tests were 100% negative. Got a blazing positive opk and got pregnant, so no bleed between miscarriage and new pregnancy. As far as I know the main reasons they recommend waiting for a period is for dating.

I was told I could try again as soon as they confirmed my uterus was empty. Didn't get a positive opk until after my first period after. Concieved 6 months after mmc and she's 2 weeks old today x

I conceived again 3 weeks after I'd had an MVA for a missed miscarriage. I felt the ovulation pain (Mittelschmerz) and had very clear discharge. It was very obvious in my case and that's despite me never previously having any ovulation symptoms

I did OPKs after my miscarriage and did not get a peak, had a sort of little peak but it stayed for around 3-4 days and was nothing like my proper peaks, but was roughly about 2-3 weeks after my miscarriage. I did get pregnant on that cycle as it turned out, even without the peak, so must have ovulated. I had no other signs of ovulation at all, assumed I was out that month and that the miscarriage had delayed things, I was still using OPKs right up until the positive HCG test as I thought I hadn’t ovulated yet! It resulted in a chemical pregnancy sadly but I then got pregnant with my now 2 year old in the cycle after that.
