HG & constipated from Ondansetron...can't keep lactulose down?!

18+5 struggling with severe HG, the ondansetron is making me sooooo painfully constipated so the GP has given me lactulose but I've just vomited it straight back up (alongside the rest of my stomach contents that I'd managed to keep down for an hour this morning 🙃)

Any tips out there for me if anyone had same issue?! 😫 or do I just need putting down at this point to end my misery? 😅😂🙃

You don't need to take the lactulose all at once, so you may find that 1ml every 15 mins helps keep it down until you've taken the whole dose.

Lactulose did the same to me. It’s the thick syrupy texture, I just couldn’t cope with it. My GP switched me to laxido which seemed easier to keep down. You can also use suppositories if you can’t stomach any of the oral versions.
Just make sure you are taking something as ondansetron constipation is not fun!

I was prescribed a straight laxative when this happened to me. Can't remember what it was called but it was a tiny tablet (I think it began with a b). Was really effective but brutal.
