Good luck!

With my first I planned to pack it once I started my maternity leave. So around 36+4, or there about. As I was admitted to hospital at 36+2, I was slightly under prepared. My husband had to pack it for me. Needless to say, he got it wrong. I vowed never again

With my second I packed my bag after the 20 week scan. Around week 34 I added baby's stuff to it. Useful, as I was once again hospitalised at 36 weeks.

Now is the best time.

You'll never regret having it packed early :)

good luck.. my DD is 36 weeks this week (today infact) and she's just finished packing hers with a bit of a push from me.

I went into labour at 29 weeks with her and 26 with my 2nd... so i personally do not think there is ever a time for it to be 'too early'

(thankfully both labours were stopped and i managed to take them both to close to full term)

I packed at 39 weeks - but that was my 2nd child

First child I packed at 35 weeks ....

No harm in starting to get things ready / see what you need to buy etc

I packed as I finished work at 34 weeks.
