Bit embarrassed at my lack of knowledge here but.... husband and I recently started TTC our first.... I mean very recently (only stopped using condoms 2 weeks ago as I knew I was ovulating so we just went for it :))

I know I was ovulating when we tried but still weren't expecting anything to happen particularly quickly. However I have been feeling exhausted and a bit woozy last couple of days (I do tend to feel tired week before my period so could likely be that but I also gagged this Morning at something that wouldn't normally bother me so I thought I would just try one of those early indicator tests (says you can test 6 days before period due though may be less accurate - I am 4 days before period due)

Anyway peed on stick, jumped in shower and when I checked it was showing a negative result so I put it in the bin and went about my Morning. For some reason though curiosity got the better of me a few hours later and I pulled it back OUT the bin (no judgement please) to find a faint tip of a second blue line at the top of the indicator box. Now I know a faint line can still be positive but it isn't a line... just the top of a line at the top of the box if that makes sense.....I will of course test again maybe in a week or so but curiosity now has the better of me.... is this most likely because the test has been sitting arse up in the bin rather than on a flat surface? Or is it a potential positive??

No judgement, I spent far too many times scrutinising tests I pulled out of the bin!
I think it’s just likely dye bleed from not sitting flat though tbh.

Was it a clear blue test by any chance?

If so they are terrible for having a random skinny blue line appear after the time. Caught me out a few years ago when I went bin hoking, I was not pregnant.

Thank you! I suspected that would probably be the case but you know how the brain can start making you wonder.... :)

@lifebeginz I thought so lol. I hate those tests for that reason. Red dye ones are better.
