not currently ttc but had a slip up with contraception & there is a small chance I could be, which happened 5 days before I was due (hence the very small chance) but I am now 7 days late. Can’t work out if this is a line or just a line on the actual test as it’s to one side?

I can see something very faint but I'd also expect something darker if you're a week late. Maybe wait a few days and test again.

Hmmmm you’re going to have to take another test

I'd try another test, I can see a faint line on the picture but it isn't where the line should be so I wouldn't trust it
