I've been in and out for disturbed vision. Head aches, protein in urine etc. bloods was always okay and BP. I got advised to buy a home Bp machine so I did.
My readings in the last few hours have been

144/87
133/87
130/83.

Are these any concern? Can't ring up at the moment as the phone line is just ringing. I'm nearly 32 weeks. Thanks

I think it’s if it goes over 140/90 and that’s either of the numbers it doesn’t need to be both. My high bp was first picked up at 31 weeks when I went in for reduced movements.

Can you go in to mac/hospital and they could check and monitor you? It’s definitely worth checking whether it’s the hospital or your midwife. Keep calling if you haven’t got through already.

Oh my bp wasn’t immediately linked to preeclampsia. That took a few weeks, then I had worsening blood results, and protein in urine. It just started off with high bp, and taking bp medication to start.

My hospital rule is anything over 150/90 would need to go in! Of course keep phoning triage to just have peace of mind and hopefully they'll answer soon 🫶🏻

Sorry - 140/90**

Hi I will call up now ended up falling asleep.
Took it again and it's 144/124 and flashing high. I didn't see it has a little indicator for high or medium.
Hopefully all is ok. Head ache is really strong today and feel really rough.

That last reading is a problem. Go in to A and E now

Call triage/community midwife and ask if this requires you to go in before next appointment, 130 reading shouldn't be an issue but anything over 135 should be brought to midwife's attention
