If your first baby came early did your second?

I am 33+5 pregnant with baby no 2. First baby arrived at 36+5 waters went, labour started soon after and he arrived that night.

I know no one has a crystal ball and can predict these things but I’m wondering if your first came naturally earlier did your second follow suit?

My first came at 37 weeks on the dot. Water spontaneously broke.

My second came at 38 weeks exactly . Also my waters spontaneously broke .

First one five days early and second one one nine days early. Caught on the hop both times.

My first was 12 days early and my second was 3 days early. Both spontaneous labours

First one a week early, second one a week late.

First one four weeks early. second, one week late. Third, four days early.

Fell over and ruptured my waters at 31 weeks, baby came at 31+4.

Second baby at 33+1, cause not known.

Yes, first was two days late, second was one day late.

First waters broke at 38 weeks, second came after 40+2 after a sweep

First at 37 weeks, second at 38 weeks. A family member had first at 37 weeks, second on due date, third at 32 weeks.

My obstetrician told me that as my first came early, it was more likely my second would, but it can go either way!

DD1 born at 32+2
DD2 born at 31+4

Yes, 13 days early and 11 days early.

First right on time. Second 2 weeks late.

5 weeks early, 2 weeks early and a week early. All planned sections only the third actually made it to their planned date.

Not my 1st or 2nd, they were both late, but my 4th my waters ruptured at 35+1 and he was born at 35+3. My 5th my waters ruptured at 35+3 and he was born at 36+6. Those extra 10 days made a massive difference, even though we both had sepsis. He only stayed in the neonatal unit for 5 days, unlike his brother who was there for 28. Was incredibly annoying leaking constantly for 10 days though and I was always worrying I was going to have a massive gush and leak through my clothes on the bus or something. I did leak a lot but never in public thank goodness.

1st- 5 days early
2nd- 5 days late
3rd- born on due date

Have never got to full term.
35 +5 first
36 +2 second
37 on the dot third.
All babies had to go under the light for slight jaundice all 3 under 6lb.
Mine got smaller with each one 5.12 first and biggest, 5.5 smallest and youngest, do much for they get bigger as you go.

Yes my waters went early for both children, two days or so of labour/induction and both born in week 37. Interestingly my own birth was similar. Waters breaking and early birth.

First baby came on the due date and 2nd was five days early. Both spontaneous and painless.

First was a week early, second was over two weeks late!

All 3 of mine arrived before their due date but after 37 wks so not properly early.
