Ovulation after chemical pregnancy

Just wondering if anyone knows if their ovulation and cycle was normal after a chemical pregnancy?
I had a chemical pregnancy on 8th April. My period was 1 day late but I was testing positive for one full week before this bleed.
I started to take ovulation tests on day 11 of this cycle which was Friday just gone. I’ve had sex everyday since then, and tested my ovulation. I haven’t got a full strong positive test yet, where the test line is darker than control, this morning my tests are getting lighter so not sure if I actually missed my ‘peak’. I’ve used Premom app they are showing me my tests are lighter.
i am day 15 of my cycle now, I can do the deed today and tomorrow but then my partner is off to work till Monday. Really hope I’m not missing my ovulation ! :(

Sorry to hear what you went through - I had CP on exact same day as you and also going through same thing. I'm on day 19 and still 'high' on my Clearblue monitor, which is latest it's been for me. I usually hit 'peak between 13-17.

I've also been taking CoQ10 and worried it may impact ovulation (know research isn't great on it), but also feeling the same as you. I'll keep you updated on what happens. I've got an appointment with our fertility dr next week so I'll ask them too.

I only started to test my ovulation properly on day 14 as I told myself before to not obsess over it but hey I started. But still not getting positives. The test line is actually get lighter I think. So I hope I did ovulate already and missed the peak! As my partner is away now fill cycle day 20 so hope I haven’t missed my window. Xx

According to my monitor I've still not ovulated (day 24) and I'm still 'high' not 'peak' so I'll actually be grateful when my period turns up to know my cycle is back to normal!

Hey love. I got ‘high’ ovulation tests last night and this morning. So I think the peak is coming! I’m happy to actually see that the tests are getting higher. I am day 21

I ovulated on day 16 or 17 after my chemical in January. I fell pregnant immediately after, though this one ended in MMC in March at 10 weeks.

My chemical was over in a week, so in terms of bleed and cycle, things went back to normal pretty quickly. This time, I'm 5.5 weeks passed my D&C and still testing positive, so not even had a period yet. The waiting is awful.

I'm currently on day 27 and still 'high' - it's been two weeks now, no idea what's going on. Hope period returns this weekend then at least some normality. Our fertility nurse told us it's totally normal for this to happen, but still frustrating!

Hey love! Sorry for not getting back to you sometimes I try to stay off these things for my mind haha. I got a strong positive for ovulation on day 21 & 22. So yes was quite a late ovulation! How about you?

My monitor stayed 'high' all month and then today I did preg test on it and it said pregnant (if CP was day 1 then I'm day 30). I wasn't expecting it at all. Bit on edge though after last month so not getting excited right now. All very weird! Xx

I seemed to get a bit of a rise last week and then unexpectedly came onto a period on Saturday, 6 weeks and 1 day post-D&C. I'm not adult sure whether I ovulated, the 'positive' wasn't as strong as I usually get, and my period arrived just a few days after, so I'm not sure. I'm grateful to have my cycle back through. Weirdly, I'm still testing faintly positive!

Oh I bet you are glad to get the cycle back. Gives a sense of normality again.

I've tested preg three days now on my Clearblue monitor so just holding on tight until next week as so scared of CP again. Not getting excited and just keeping an eye on things!

Wondering the same myself, although MMC rather than CP. Started spotting 25/04 and it finished 05/05. Negative pregnancy test today so I’m assuming everything is back to normal, but I did an OPK at the same time and it’s reading high. I guess given how long I bled for it could be coming to that time in my cycle but I also don’t know if it could just be due to my hormones not being back to normal. The thoughts of waiting another month to start trying again!

Fingers crossed it levels out for you. My fertility nurse said after CP your cycle can be delayed as you'll have residual preg hormones in body. Xxx
