Lower back pain and no progression line

I’m 4 weeks 4 days pregnant, 18 dpo.
I have had lower back pain getting worse throughout the day as well as cramping on and off. I’ve got a low grade temp 37.8.
Ive also got no progression on my tests.
is this pointing to miscarriage?

It's a worrying time, isn't it, @DenimSwan - period just a few days late, and heart in mouth that the pregnancy is establishing.

I'm an old gimmer, from the days before pregnancy tests were so cheap and easily available, but there's a lot to be said for not testing constantly. These first few weeks are a time for wondering and hoping - so if it's not to be (this time), the disappointment isn't too crushing. The joy and excitement if it does 'stick', will still be there!
