Yes I can see a line! Test again tomorrow or the day after and it should hopefully be darker ❤️

mumtobbk · 22/04/2024 10:51

I’m more impressed at sex 6 weeks post partum 🤣 think I was still on the mega pads at that point!!
def positive congrats!!

mumtobbk · 23/04/2024 07:14

Oh my gosh 6 weeks?? How did you handle it? I couldn't sleep all last night with worry. I have a 5 year old too and so anxious this might me too hard on all of us...

I think @MrBigsCat was saying she's impressed that you're having sex at 6 weeks weeks post partum, rather than having been through it herself.

Be gentle with yourself, take your time. I too can see a faint line but agree with pp, keep testing. It may not be what you want or planned for, but you can take a bit of time to think it all through. I don't know about your circumstances but in my experience people can be incredibly helpful and supportive and if you choose to go ahead, you may fast develop a superb support network to make it all feel manageable.

MrBigsCat · 23/04/2024 07:29

I meant exactly that @Jimjamjaroo
hope you are ok op

mumtobbk · 23/04/2024 07:47

Thankyou so much @MrBigsCat and @Jimjamjaroo

You're right it's v faint and I've had chemicals before so could go away.. I'll keep testing!

Thankyou so much for your advice..

Sometimes I feel so happy thinking about it and other times terrified. I'm mostly worried about my five year old / he's with his Dad half the time but just worried he will get even less attention now and I already feel so guilty about the break and how it's affected him so I just feel like it's not really fair on him....

I can definitely see a line.

mumtobbk · 23/04/2024 09:40

Thankyou @rainbowstardrops 🙏 I'll test again today...

There's a line but i personally can't see any color to it. Does it have color in person? I've had really really bad indent lines on FRERs in the past. But they were totally grey but very noticeable. This was my FRER indent.

Is this a line??
mumtobbk · 23/04/2024 13:28

Thank you @PaperSheet yes it does have colour but the camera won't pick it up .... 😏

That's OK then. Just wanted to mention it in case as I know these tests have caused upset in the past for people.
It's definitely harder to get the camera to pick these things up I know.

mumtobbk · 23/04/2024 13:44

☺️ thank you

Yes I've had that with a frer too - pregnancy tests can be the devil!!

Jimjamjaroo · 23/04/2024 16:27

I guess it must feel a bit like having twins, but a little drawn out! But imagine if your last pregnancy had resulted in twins - yes you'd be shocked and scared and worried and mixed with excitement and joy too. And I bet you'd have found a way and coped, I'm sure. With support. You have plenty of time to think it through with your dh and work out what's best for your family Flowers

VolvoFan · 23/04/2024 17:10

It is indeed.

Harveybelle · 23/04/2024 17:15

Did these (9dpo) can see shadows in certain lights... just over cautious following a mc. The third pic is a OPK which came up positive today (I did it by mistake thinking it was a HCG in my foggy head!)

Can anyone see the shadow of a line?

I only did two because I wanted to make sure the first shadow wasn't a dodgy test or something. Realise it's so super early but now I've seen those I'm really hopeful.

@Harveybelle I can see a shadow but could be an evap line? But also v early? Can you try a frer?

OP posts:
Harveybelle · 23/04/2024 19:19

@mumtobbk it's so super early. I think I'm going to wait until I'm officially due af and I'll do a frer. Driving myself insane this evening with tiny excitement and realism it may just be a shadow line x

mumtobbk · 23/04/2024 19:40

I know it's so hard to wait!! I can defo see a shadow but I haven't used these tests before and don't know what they're like with evap lines.. waiting is the most painful part of pregnancy l!!

It is really hard on the eldest when siblings come along , especially as you say, he is spending half the time with his dad. But it is also completely normal! You've not mentioned about the father of this potential baby - is he supportive? Will he step up and help ensure you get good quality 1:1 time with your eldest? That's really the key.

mumtobbk · 24/04/2024 07:09

Yes he is amazing and very supportive! I did another free yesterday with the same faint line and then another brand which was negative. I did a frer again this morning - and got the same faint line - as it's not getting any darker and negative on the other test I'm going to guess this is a chemical 🫤

@mumtobbk it's still super super early so don't give up hope just yet x
