Quick one - Did anyone get pregnant from withdrawal?

DP and I got carried away and had about 5 minutes of unprotected intercourse then he pulled out and finished 30 seconds later.
Panicking a bit, did anyone get pregnant this way?
Already have a toddler!

Unprotected sex can (and obviously often does) lead to pregnancy, sperm can get inside you even before ejaculation. If you don't want to get pregnant I'd get the morning after pill, or you'll just have to wait and see if your period turns up.

It worked for us as contraception for a few years, then got pregnant within a few months of actually trying. If you really don’t want a pregnancy, I’d get morning after pill. The years we did it; we would have been ok with a pregnancy

I did, we were using pull out for about 4 years and never had any accidents but we were eventually going to try for a baby anyway. Found out I was pregnant last September and I'm now 38 weeks, the month I conceived OH is certain he pulled out in time and I didn't see any "evidence" he didn't pull out afterwards, but it only takes the one sperm!

Once DS is born I'll be going onto long term contraception as we're done with babies now. I'd get a MAP to be on the safe side, if you definitely don't want to become pregnant.

You know the answer and hoping to be convinced other wise !! I would get the morning after pill

Four grandchildren have been conceived using withdrawal method. Only reason they stopped at four is they broke up! Managed to remain friends and co parent well.

A friend of mine got pregnant by the pull out method.

Absolutely loads of people get pregnant this way there is pre-ejaculation after all

Yep happened to us got pregnant by pull out method but we used the method for years before we got caught!!

Not me but a friend has 2 kids from using that method!

It worked for us for around 13 years (since my youngest was born) but I'm currently unexpectedly pregnant at 39 so I'm going to say it's worked for a while but is definitely not fool proof 😂
