Tiny electric shock from toaster - 10 weeks pregnant

I’m trying to work out if I’m being silly or not. I was making some toast and the bread didn’t go down properly, so stupidly I prodded it with my finger to move it. I slightly touched the metal of the inside of the toaster and got a tiny ‘zing’, which wasn’t painful but surprised me enough to go ‘ooh’ and pull my finger away.

I don’t have any marks or anything, I didn’t feel the shock anywhere other than the end of my finger. I’m just over 10 weeks pregnant - should I go and get checked out? Am I overreacting?

Please advise if you can 🙏🏼

You are overreacting. You're fine.

No issues whatsoever, literally nothing to be concerned about.

Thank you both 🙏🏼 I’d never have given it another thought if I’d not been pregnant. Thank you for replying x

Same thing happened to me a few days ago. As long as you feel fine baby is fine.

I zapped myself on an electric fence when I was 23 weeks pregnant. Baby was fine 😊
