Got My HCG done at 4 weeks and it came back as 104 I know this is a baseline but to me it still seems slow....I stupidly did a clear blue test today on third pee of the day and it'd still showing 1-2 although frer is getting close to die stealer. I know everyone is different and depends on how hcg doubles but did anyone start with hcg like mine and have a successful pregnancy? driving myself wild :(

Hi!

Mine was 121 at 4 weeks + 1. I went a week later and it was at 4550 at 5 weeks, which meant it was doubling every 36 hours or so. Can you get a second beta to check?

Edit: my clinic is happy with anything over 75 at that point, so I wouldn’t say it’s a bad number!

I have my third beta tomorrow, then first scan on Thursday, (7 weeks + 1) so I’ll keep you posted!

Mine is an IVF pregnancy so I’m very certain of my conception date, but could your dates also be a little off? Take some comfort in that your doctors are happy with it - and if you’re feeling naughty you can always grab a private blood test somewhere :)

At 4 weeks pregnant (day 14 on this chart), HCG of 104 is absolutely fine.

Oh I’m so, so sorry. That’s so incredibly unfair and the toughest news to receive. I hope the surgery goes to plan, you’re not in pain; and that you will conceive a healthy pregnancy soon.

@Livingonhope aw that’s awful. Hope your ok and good luck x

Sorry to hear about your ectopic OP. If you don’t mind me asking how did you discover it was ectopic? I’ve had a low beta result of 75 at 13DPO (and I’ve had two previous miscarriages) no live births so really concerned about my HCG results and another miscarriage. Hope you are doing ok xx

Hi lovely im doing OK its been a tough seven weeks.

so for me mine started with line progression I am a bit ocd and didn't think it was getting as dark as I thought it would so I got bloods done and at 4 weeks I was sitting at 105 and but I thought that was low so I phoned early pregnancy unit to get more bloods done and asked for a scan ( I was 4 weeks and 4 days) and because I was via the fertility clinic they said yes. Bloods came back at 750 ( four days earlier they had been 105!)

when they scanned they seen what they thought was etopic I had NO symptoms but because so early they let me sit for four days and my hcg more than doubled each time in fact by time I had my surgery four days later hcg was over 3000

my advice don't worry about low hcg to begin with it's how it doubles and even them not a guarantee wait for your scan x
