First surgeon appointment ECS

I have my first appointment with the consultant next week, I'll be 17 weeks. It's my first baby and I'll be having an elective cesarean due to previous abdominal surgery.
I'm looking for any tips on what I should be asking the surgeon and making sure we cover?
Thanks!

My last ELCS was almost 3 years ago, will probably be advised to have another one this time too. From memory we went through:
who would be cutting the cord
did I want delayed cord clamping
did I want the curtain up or down when he came out
who was to do immediate skin to skin
what type of music I wanted played (if any).

Then we talked about the logistics, what would happen on the day, who would be in the theatre, how long the procedure takes before baby comes out and how long it takes after they are out and then if I had any concerns.

One thing I didn't know until the day was they actually catheterise you just before the surgery so it was already in when I was wheeled through to recovery and they also ask if they can put a pain killer up your bum. I had no issue with it but just thought you might like to know ☺️
