Inconclusive early scan, could dates be wrong

I have had an early scan today, no embryo could be seen. Should have been 6 weeks based on last missed period, but now I am wondering if there's any chance this is wrong and my dates are wrong by a few days. I said no at the time, but now I am wondering if I could be some days off. My date of first missed period is 8 march, ovulation date was 25 march - if I go by the ovulation date, I think I could not be 6 weeks yet I think? Grateful if anyone could advise on the dates

Amazing update! I had a PUL then an inconclusive scan then a tiny tiny embryo with a heartbeat...today we measure 8 weeks and baby has grown loads this is my first pregnancy I can't believe it actually looks like a baby already hahaha! Hoping my next update will be at 14 weeks too!
