Pregnancy happening just before expected period?

So long story short the condom broke 2 days before expected period and now I’m 5 days late. I’ve been doing ovulation tests and they seem to be coming back darker each day so I’m not sure what’s going on.. I have aching in my lower right back and white/watery discharge and I’m also 6 months postpartum.

Now the reason why I’m worried is because my ovulation tests are usually extremely light on my expected period even when it’s late and in my previous pregnancy all my ovulation tests come back dark/positive.

my periods have been pretty much regular the past 3-4 months so for it to be late for 5 days is unusual. I’m doing ovulation tests as it’s way too early to do a pregnancy test and secondly it’s only been 7 days since the “accident” happened so I’m not expected anything to show up so extremely early. Just these tests are usual to be coming darker on a late period, doesn’t usually happen for me unless I’m pregnant. Any thoughts on this???

has anyone else got pregnant so soon to expected period??

The only way to know for sure is to do a pregnancy test. Technically if you're using LH tests to indicate pregnancy you'd expect the lines to be of equal darkness, if not the test line darker than the control line but it doesn't always work for everyone. I was pregnant and had an LH test like yours (negative).

It seems very unlikely, but have you tried testing with an actual pregnancy test?

And are you sure you didn't possibly conceive when you ovulated?
