Hey

I got referred to hospital due to pain in my abdominal the other day as they suspected potential ectopic.

I’m only 4 weeks 6 days so very early.

They done a scan which they couldn’t see much just the sack and they noticed a small bleed next to it which the dr said could have been implantation bleeding which I did get.

They took my bloods and I have to go back in 48 hours to measure my HCG to see if it increases.

I have been taking tests everyday and they have been getting darker, and yesterday was the darkest one yet! Would this be a good sign that my HCG levels are increasing?

thank you

Yes i would say that’s good news.
keep going back to get tested and scanned.
good luck x

It can be a good sign but sadly they can still increase even if a PUL (mine did, and it was ectopic). They tend to see if the hcg is doubling rather than just increasing, as PULs don't tend to increase in hcg the same way. I hope you get good news at your next appointment.

Thank you everyone. The consultant rang me just after I posted this and said my hcg levels were extremely high and she has no concerns at the moment. She said not to bother coming in 48 hours because the levels were super high.

She’s said I’m exactly where I’m meant to be at the stage. Shes scanning me next Friday x
