Evap line or faint positive?

Hello ladies,

I am only at 5dpo and could not resist testing..I would appreciate any feedback on what you think it may be?

After 3 mins it was faintly showing. Slight color.

Are you sure you're 5dpo? Could you have ovulated earlier? And egg could not be able to implant at 5dpo and produce detectable hcg. Impossible.

I know, it's impossible! But I had AF bleeding for 4 days...then acc to the ovulation app I ovulated 6 days ago..had a lot of EWCM so it's very confusing. I'm guessing I shouldnt get my hopes up then 😓

Hcg isn’t normally produced till 12 dpo

I might be able to see a squinter but 5 dpo would be too early to show on a test - maybe you ovulated earlier than you think. Earliest I've ever heard is a positive at 7dpo. I got my BFP at 9dpo and thought that was pretty early. You're definitely still in with a chance this month though if you're only at 5dpo, even if it's negative now.

At the end of day its a positive test ,I would go and buy a clear blue one tells you the results x

HCG starts to be produced once implantation happens; at the earliest 6dpo. Following this, it takes 48 hours for the HCG to rise to a level that's very faintly visible on a sensitive test.

OP, you can't implant at 3dpo. Did you actually do ovulation tests or is this just guesswork from an app?

Aww don't be scared hun I was the same as you I tested positive a week before period was due I am now 15 weeks pregnant 😀

I did get a clear blue test not 1 but 5 of them lol only because I wanted know hcg was going up because had 2 miscarriages x
