I’m about 4-5 weeks pregnant (I had IVF so it’s hard to be 100% but I think I’m 5 weeks tomorrow).

my first scan isn’t until week 7 but today I’ve had constant cramps in the middle of my abdomen (just above my pelvis).

is this normal? I’ve had no bleeding but getting worried as it’s mild cramps but doesn’t seem to go away? Just a ‘throbbing’ sensation is the only way I can describe it…

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Yes it's normal, it's your uterus stretching and cervix closing to accommodate baby! It's only if it is a sharp pain that gets worse you might want to get checked sooner.

Yes pelvic cramping is totally normal, it can be quite sore at the start. One sided sharp pain isn't normal though, good luck op 😁
